COACHING

PM25 will provide one-on-one and group coaching services to individuals.

INTAKE ASSESSMENT

PM25 will perform an intake assessment on all clients.

 

LIFE PLAN

PM25 will complete a Life Plan for each client to address key areas of support to assist them with becoming and maintaining stability in the following areas:

  • Housing
  • Education
  • Employment
  • Finances
  • Transportation
  • Safety
  • Family⁄Relationships
  • Health and Wellness
  • Spiritual
  • Social⁄Recreation

SERVICE PROVIDERS

PM25 will connect individuals and/or groups to various service providers to assist them in identifying and addressing interpersonal and professional goals.

Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) are potentially traumatic events that occur in childhood. ACEs can include violence, abuse, and growing up in a family with mental health or substance use problems. Toxic stress from ACEs can change brain development and affect how the body responds to stress. ACEs are linked to chronic health problems, mental illness, and substance misuse in adulthood.  Participant Life Plans and services referrals are developed and implemented based on the participants ACE’s score.  All participants are assessed upon entering the PM 25 program.

Emotional intelligence is the ability to understand, use, and manage your own emotions in positive ways to relieve stress, communicate effectively, empathize with others, overcome challenges and defuse conflict.

  • Emotional Intelligence strengthens relationships with friends and family.
  • Emotional Intelligence promotes positivity while boosting morale and increases productivity. 
  • Emotional Intelligence develops a culture of leadership and emotional maturity which minimizes school and life situational conflicts.
  • When youth practice emotional intelligence daily, most toxic behavior is easily minimized and neutralized.

A structured support group for girls and gender-expansive youth ages 8-11; 9-13; 14-18 which integrates relational theory, resiliency practices, and skills training. Designed to increase positive connection, strengths, and competence in girls. 

It aims to counteract social and interpersonal forces that impede girls’ growth and development by promoting an emotionally safe setting and structure within which girls can develop caring relationships and use authentic voices.

A structured support group for mothers or female caregivers and their daughters which integrates relational theory, resiliency practices, and skills training. Designed to increase positive connection, strengths, and competence in girls. 

A weekly support group for single mothers who have raised their child/children either alone or with limited support from family and friends and had to operate/function in their feminine and masculine roles as a parent.  Women shall develop the following skills and abilities as a result of participating in this support group: 

  • Develop a stronger sense of SELF
  • Practice Healthy Boundaries
  • Manage Time More Efficiently
  • Discover a Growth Mindset

 

Participants will be exposed to self care activities that include the following: numerology, meditation (with music), massages, acupuncture, chiropractor, dance, stretching and exercise.

Children’s Encyclopedia Intro to Business & Finance “B is for Black Wealth” curriculum (Anthony Walker) provides girls with the resources to understand and use financial skills, including personal financial management, budgeting and investing.

Provides education and training to participants to meet the needs of current and future business and industry needs, to maintain a sustainable competitive economic environment.

Intensive case management services are dictated by the participants’ Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE’s) score.  Each participant along with their case manager develops a Life Plan which dictates how services will be administered to participants. 

A support group for women to share, explore, build skills, and encourage one another to live authentically in mind, body, heart and spirit. A program for women in colleges, careers, recovery programs, institutions, job training, military or volunteer service, faith- based settings, homemakers and caregivers.

Through discussions and creative art activities, women address and build skills in the areas of relationships, self-care, clarifying purpose, goal setting, finances, conflict, and emotional intelligence.

5-10 participants with 1-2 facilitators meet for 1.5 – 2 hour weekly sessions during an 8-12 week period.  Groups are age-appropriate with gender-relevant themes and employ strengths-based facilitation strategies.


One Circle Foundation (OCF) is an evidence-based principle of a strengths-based approach, motivational interviewing strategies and has a strong focus on positive youth development. The age-old process of communing in a safe circle is the foundational strength of all (OCF) programs.

A  9 week program that explores vision boards (planning and development) with participants that includes weekly activities, supplies, materials and a facilitated peer support group discussion on self-care and self-love.  At the end of the 9 weeks, participants share their vision boards with the group and celebrate together!

(What is a Vision Board?  vision board is a tool used to help clarify, concentrate and maintain focus on a specific life goal. Literally, a vision board is any sort of board on which you display images that represent whatever you want to be, do or have in your life.)

Connects participants with dedicated Mentor Specialists and/or mentors for one hour per week to provide academic support, guidance, exposure to activities, employment opportunities and discussion of targeted goals that are outlined in their life plan. 

Provides women with the resources and attire needed to secure professional jobs.

The 12 Principles of Financial Freedom and Black Wealth Principles curriculum (Anthony Walker) provides women with the resources to understand and use financial skills, including personal financial management, budgeting and investing. 

A partnership with CHDC and Richmond Neighborhood House to prepare participants for home ownership

Connects participants with a licensed therapist to deliver individual and/or group behavioral health service
